Science of the Secondary
Science of the Secondary is a publishing project from the design studio Atelier HOKO that applies a scientific approach to examine common objects. Each volume focuses on a single item, like a t-shirt or a door, to reveal the conditions and complexities people often ignore. The series uses text, diagrams, and photography to dissect an object's form, function, and how we interact with it. Ultimately, the publication encourages people to find curiosity in the world and the items they use every day.
