Joe Pera, the deadpan Adult Swim comedian behind Joe Pera Talks With You, and illustrator Joe Bennett have made a small gift book about hiding in the bathroom. Not as a joke, as a genuine strategy. Short breathing exercises, quiet visualizations, and low-key pep talks for the anxious person buying two minutes of peace between obligations.

Bennett's illustrations run slightly darker and stranger than Pera's calm text, which is where most of the humor lives. The result is funny and oddly comforting, closer to a pocket companion than a comedy book.
