SHUKYU Magazine 12: Fun Issue

Shukyu Magazine 12 surveys the many ways people engage with soccer beyond the pitch. The twelfth issue, which closes the publication's tenth anniversary year, takes "FUN" as its theme, gathering interviews with senior players, designers, artists, photographers, collectors, futsal and street soccer players, comedians, rappers, pub owners, uniform shops, and bookstores. The issue also turns attention to the people behind the largest World Cup in history, with reporting from those working on the front lines of the event.

Contributors include Chihiro Sasaki Burns, Devin L'Amoreaux, Florence Pernet, and others working across photography, fashion, music, and design. Published by SHUKYU in 2026, the issue runs 164 pages in a 182x257mm softcover format, with text in Japanese and English. An English translation booklet is included.
