Visible Mending with Approved Textiles
Join Matthew Addonizio of Approved Textiles for a hands-on workshop exploring visible mending techniques that transform clothing repair into a design element. As part of February's Fiber Arts Corner, this session introduces participants to methods that celebrate rather than conceal the act of mending, using patches and stitching as intentional additions to garments.
The workshop begins with a demonstration, followed by guided practice where participants select a visible mending patch to repair a piece of clothing they've brought. All supplies provided, including materials for one repair.
